I bet you've heard of the iPad
everyone has.
I agree with you- it's AWESOME!
I have played with one, it is pretty incredible and i can imagine why a person would want one.
But tell me this, do you have a computer? do you have an iphone/ipod touch? do you have an ipod? do you have a television? do you own any books? do you have a cowbell? or an electronic bird caller?
Let's say you get an ipad, will you be rid of all these things or would you just have a whole boat load of things that pretty much have the same function?
If you're going to do that, it's either called
a) materialistic
b) Apple Addict
or
c) an environment killer.
Sure Steve Jobs is "going green" he's "the environment man" but you tell me, through all of the advertising for the iPad did you ever ONCE see an ad say something along the lines of:
the iPad is great! Made of 100% recycled materials!
no, i haven't.
The iPad is free of things like PVCs and BVRs but does that make YOU feel like YOU'RE saving the earth? Not me.
